The Second Line Social Aid and Pleasure Society Brass Band is an activist street band that formed at an anti-war protest in 2003 during the run up to the invasion of Iraq. It is also the host band for Somerville's HONK! Festival of Activist Street Bands. I play snare drum in the band and have served on the HONK! Organizing Committee for most of this time.
